Tachuris rubrigastra rubrigastra (Vieillot)

Length 10 – 11 cms.

Black crown with a red central line. Yellow superciliar line from the beak to the nape. Blue black triangle on the sides of the face from the beak until the auricles. White throat. Yellow breast and abdomen, divided by an incomplete black band in the center. Yellow green lower back. Grey coverts.
