Spectacled tyrant

Hymenops perspicillata andina (Ridgway)

Length: 16 cms.

Male: All plumage black. Primaries white with point and base black. Black feet. Yellow beak. Black eyes with a yellow external ring.

Female: on the top, dark brown, with black central feathers and cinnamon rib. Breast and abdomen light brown with black longitudinal striations on the breast.
