Araucania Fall Colors
To enjoy fall colors: April and May only.
In the Araucanía , high up in the Andes Range, we have spectacular fall colors that are unique for nature lovers and photographers. This unforgettable tour takes place only during April and May.
We will drive towards Argentina, and just a few kms. before the border we will observe beautifull Quillelhue lagoon framed with colors to start our trekking toward the Andean Lakes. We will border the chilean side of Lanin volcano and trail though native forests of lengas, ñires, coihues and monkey puzzle trees with reds, oranges and yellows adorning our path. We will have the chance to observe and photograph the magellanic woodpecker through amazing scenery with Lanin volcano.
Our tour includes Escondida and Huinfiuca lagoons and upon our return we will stop at Quillelhue lagoon with blasting colors, to observe several species of wild ducks.
